Astelia Silver Spear (syn. A 'Silver Spear')

Clump-forming plant with elegant silvery spear-shaped leaves. In mid- to late spring long stalks of pale yellowish green flowers are produced from female plants and are often followed by orange berries in the summer. A lovely plant that makes a dramatic feature in most gardens and looks particularly good when planted with purple-leaved plants, such as Phormium 'Platt's Black'.
