Hakonechloa

An eye-catching small ornamental grass, forming arching clumps of vividly striped bright yellow and narrow green striped foliage. The leaves keep their colour throughout the season, and often when its grown in full sun it develops a slight reddish tinge. In late summer and autumn, pale green, needle-like flower spikes are produced.
