Myrtle

Fragrant, pink-tinted cream flowers from July to August, followed by white berries, and lustrous, dark green leaves. This sun-loving, evergreen shrub is ideal for a mixed or shrub border with fertile, moist, well-drained soil. More compact and rounded than the species plant, it's particularly valuable where border space is limited.Position: full sunSoil: fertile, moist, well-drained soilRate of growth: average Flowering period: July to August Flower colour: pink-tinted cream flowersHardiness: frost hardy (needs winter protection)Garden care: Protect from cold, drying winds.
