Oak-leaved Hydrangea

Spectacular clusters of white flowers with giant 'oak-leaved' shaped leaves. From midsummer, conical flowerheads are produced bearing large white blooms which become pink-tinged with age. It looks great in the middle to the back of a sunny or partially shady border.Position: full sun or partial shadeSoil: moist, well-drained, moderately fertile, humus-rich soilRate of growth: average Flowering period: July and September Flower colour: whiteOther features: the flowerheads make excellent dried flower arrangementsHardiness: fully hardyGarden care: To enhance flowering prune in spring, cutting back the flowered stems to a strong pair of buds below each flower-head.
