The shiny bronze skin of these superb shallots provides good protection to the delicious, intensely flavoured, rosy coloured flesh within. The variety will give a good yield of high quality bulbs that are ideal for pickling and are invaluable in casseroles. (400g of shallots [approximately 15-20 bulbs] will plant a row of about 3m [10']).
